Up in the Air (PG)

Up in the Air is a 2009 American comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman and co-written by Reitman and Sheldon Turner. It is a film adaptation of the 2001 novel of the same name, written by Walter Kirn. The story is about a corporate downsizer played by George Clooney and his travels. The film follows his isolated life and philosophies along with the people he meets along the way. Filming was primarily in St. Louis, Missouri, which substituted for a number of other cities shown in the film. Several scenes were also filmed in Detroit, Michigan, Omaha, Nebraska, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Miami, Florida.

Ant's Review: *shucks, i should have written this review after watching it. All the thoughts and feelings i have for the show is now gone. Well... the movie is another adaption of a Storybook who tells about a man, Ryan Bingham (Clooney) who has a dream of earning ten-million frequent flyer miles. Who is always away from his family. Then met Natalie who tried to change his company work style using the technology which in turn will cut cost for the company. The movie also shows the recession, US faced in 2009 with many people being layoff. This movie is about the examination of a philosophy. Watch this movie to feel it. It's all about choice and how strong u manage to stay with it.

Morale of the story? It's rude to quit with just a SMS. Write a proper resignation letter. =)

Ant's attraction: 4 Ants crawling into the cinema to catch this show.
